Thomas Trigo Trindade's recent visit kicked off multiple projects related to data assimilation, reduced-order models, and partially observed stochastic optimal control
About
Dr. Thomas Trigo Trindade visited STOCHNUM from April 14th to 30th. During this time, he initiated projects surrounding data assimilation and reduced-order models, engaging with Prof. Raúl Tempone, Dr. Christian Bayer, and Prof. Marco Scavino (UDA). He also met with Prof. Ibrahim Hoteit and his group and advanced the ongoing CRG project alongside Prof. Fabio Nobile (EPFL). Among the initiatives he contributed to, one project aims to improve the uncertainty quantification of Red Sea temperature models.
