About Matteo Icardi Matteo Icardi Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Stochastic Numerics Research Group computational fluid dynamics High Performance Computing Matteo Icardi worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Professor Raul F. Tempone's Stochastic Numerics Research Group (STOCHNUM) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Research Interests Matteo's main research interests include the multi-scale modeling and simulation of multiphase flows, flows in porous media, and non-equilibrium flows, by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), High-Performance Computing (HPC), stochastic and kinetic methods. He has worked also in the field of turbulent multiphase and reactive flows, Large Eddy Simulations (LES), Adaptive Mesh Projects Related Projects 2012 Bayesian Calibration, Validation and Uncertainty Quantification of Subsurface flow models Tue, Jun 5 2012 - Sun, Jun 1 2014 In this project, we address the mathematical modeling, numerical simulation, and uncertainty quantification of multiphase flow in porous media with a special emphasis on CO2 storage in geological formations.
