Matteo Icardi

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Stochastic Numerics Research Group

computational fluid dynamics High Performance Computing

Matteo Icardi worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Professor Raul F. Tempone's Stochastic Numerics Research Group (STOCHNUM) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Research Interests Matteo's main research interests include the multi-scale modeling and simulation of multiphase flows, flows in porous media, and non-equilibrium flows, by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), High-Performance Computing (HPC), stochastic and kinetic methods. He has worked also in the field of turbulent multiphase and reactive flows, Large Eddy Simulations (LES), Adaptive Mesh
